It looks like a bug.  The SSL certificate is now failing a hostname
check, which seems to be due to a behavior change that came in one of the
Python 3.10.x upgrades in Yocto.  There is a fix from a few days ago in
the upstream repo that can be backported, I'll look at it tomorrow.
