I've tried building the agl-image-minimal-crosssdk without my changes. I just added following lines in local.conf:
EXTRA_IMAGE_FEATURES += "tools-sdk"
EXTRA_IMAGE_FEATURES += "tools-debug"
EXTRA_IMAGE_FEATURES += "eclipse-debug"
I am facing the same issue. Musl libc is still appearing. I just run the same test in Lamprey release (GCC 9.3.0 aarch64-agl-linux) and musl is not there:

Any suggestions on why this may be? I am following exactly the same steps to build Needlefish compared to Lamprey or Marlin.
