Please find below a brief summary of the progress Collabora has made last week.
Weston/Wayland
Marius:
- SPEC-4009 (WAM - Support multiple client surfaces for the client shell) - further follow-up and addressing comments
- SPEC-4000 (Investigate API/methods of retrieval page status/load status) - follow-up from SPEC-4009. Instrumenting and further testing to determine when the applications have been fully loaded. Nothing conclusive as of yet.
- SPEC-4112 (Improve weston's systemd service file) - minor discussions about correctly capturing all the output from the compositor.
Application Framework
Arnaud:
- Create and integrate systemd service files for launching agl-compositor, homescreen and launcher on startup without relying on the old application framework.
Pipewire
George:
- Nothing to report this week
