Hi All,

Please find below a brief summary of the progress Collabora have made last week on Weston/Wayland and Pipewire.

Weston / Wayland

Marius:
 - SPEC-3927 (None of the webapps can be built externally), SPEC-3856 (chromium: FTBS with YP 3.1.6) -     found some build issues with external source with webapps and chromium itself.
 - SPEC-3799 (Left icon bar overlapping launcher area) - timing issues when starting the client shell (which doesn't manage multiple surfaces) causes some of the surfaces (the panel) to show up incorrectly. It requires accouting correctly for all surfaces at once, and not chain load applications one after another. Looking into adding that in WAM, to avoid any future issues with it. 

Pipewire / WirePlumber

George:
    - Restructured API documentation and experimented with html output options to get a readable end result

IC Sound Manager

Julian:
    - Finished improving error handling when creating pipewire objects in wireplumber, and created MR.
