- This week there was the virtual AGL all member meeting . Very cool , the kind people and interesting talks happening, got to see alot more people that are working in AGL ,than those I usually see on the dev call . I can only imagine how cool it gets irl.
- Still working with building agl-image for qemux86 using Jakub's meta-jailhouse layer : https://github.com/Limoto/meta-jailhouse
- According to Jacob , there need to be special options for qemu to work, so there is a need to compare and update the flags for runqemu
- Trying to figure out the split between meta-virtualization, meta-ti, meta-freescale i.e what goes into it and what doesnt.
Week6:
- This week I am trying to build an AGL image for qemux86 with jailhouse in it working.
- New errors building the agl image for rpi4 , Simon suggests the issue is with the rpi4 kernel upstream changing the git repo.
- Also, figuring out how to upstream the layer to gerrit.
- Received my first stipend ever! ;)
- Slow progress , hrs without electricity followed by hrs without wifi because of heavy rains in my area this week, this all happening while the city specific quarantine is going on : (
Week 5
- This week I was able to get an AGL image running in rpi4 with jailhouse in it .
- The recipe I created on my git can build jailhouse but crashes when certain scripts are called.
- Need to find the right configuration to stop jailhouse from crashing.
- Decided to keep the CAN boards away for a few weeks , can boards work but the communication between them isn't yet happening , issues seems to be with the soldering done on them , lockdown in my town results in not being able to bring in more CAN boards for another two weeks.
- Exams and pressure evals in the past week , havent looked at the recipe in sometime , struggling to get back in the zone.
- Passed the evals , Simon's feedback was very motivating and I thank him for the support.
- Things are getting exciting , going to collab with Jakub this month.
