Hi everyone!

Welcome to the "Itchy Icefish" release of the AGL Unified Code Base!
It is now available on the 'icefish' branch in git.

Release notes, information on downloading the

New Features included in the 'Itchy Icefish' release include:

  * Update for ostree (SOTA)
  * Application Framework improvements
    - Replaced Cynara permission manager with AGL developed Cynagora
    - Token Logic based security implemented
  * Port of POI to new API
  * Speech Recognition
    - Improve Speech-API and voiceagent integration
    - Alexa Auto SDK 2.0
    - New open source version of display cards for Speech Recognition
  * Audio
    - Enhancements to pipewire and wireplumber
  * Connectivity
    - Improve networking support and network settings
    - Rework bluetooth APIs and extend to pbap and map protocols
  * HTML5 Apps
    - Security converted to using Token Logic
    - HTML5-only image available  using Web App Manager (WAM) and Chromium
    - HTML Demo apps available for Home Screen, Launcher, Dashboard, Settings,
      Media Player, Mixer, HVAC, and Chromium Browser
    - Significant performance improvements
  * QML Reference Apps
    - Steering Wheel Controls via LIN to IVI Apps
    - Refreshed Instrument Cluster app that includes CAN messages
      from Steering Wheel/ IVI
  * Instrument Cluster demo images
  * Graphics and Window Manager
    - Technical preview available for new windowmanager/homescreen
      (enabled by disto feature 'agl-compositor')
    - Enhancements to waltham-transmitter


  * Board Support Package updates:
    - Renesas RCar3 BSPs updated to v3.21 (M3/H3, E3, Salvator)
    - Enhanced support for SanCloud BeagleBone Enhanced + Automotive Cape
    - i.MX6 using etnaviv (cubox-i target)
    - Enhanced Raspberry Pi 4 support

Known Issues:
* Firmware to needs to updated to for Renesas M3 and H3 boards.

for more details on how to update the firmware.
* No audio on Raspberry Pi 3/4 jack; HDMI works.
* Mediaplayer does not show files *copied* into /media until reboot
* vmdk image needs UEFI enabled to boot (VirtualBox/Vmware)
* Qemu needs UEFI to boot

For upcoming patch releases any "must-fix" will be tagged with the
"II-must-fix" label in Jira.
If there is a defect you think should be considered a must fix for an
upcoming patch release either
a) Create change on the release branch in gerrit.
    This can either be a release specific fix or
    a fix that was also merged onto master.
b) Indicate a change is required for icefish in Jira.
    Please create a JIRA issue to cherry pick the fix
    onto the icefish branch and assign it to
    Jan-Simon Moeller for consideration.
