Hello everyone,
hope you are well and taking care of yourself;
you can find the latest test results for master branch here:
Overall status: Working
Homescreen has sporadic crashes, the only clue what caused it to crash is SMACK denial in dmesg. The result is black top and bottom bars. Issue seems to disappear after a reboot.
Bluetooth, Wifi, Ethernet work.
Audio works as well as over bluetooth; messaging, mixer, dashboard, hvac, navigation, radio work.
New issues:
SPEC-3274 - psplash-default is hogging the cpu;
I tried debugging the process, strace reports :"
strace: WARNING: Proper structure decoding for this personality is not supported, please consider building strace with mpers support enabled."
I ran a perf ftrace on the pid and attached the output into the ticket for anyone interested.
I think this is a good opportunity to ask you which are your favorite tools for debugging such cases?
Best regards:
Eddie
