I set the weston.ini file before, but it didn't work.
my weston.ini file is like following:
##################################################
[core]
shell=ivi-shell.so
backend=drm-backend.so
require-input=false
modules=systemd-notify.so

# Support the Raspberry Pi Foundation 7" tablet which uses the DSI connector
# rather than HDMI.
[output]
#name=DSI-1
#transform=0
#mode=800x480

# A display is connected to HDMI-A-1 and needs to be rotated 270 degrees
# to have a proper orientation of the homescreen.  For example the various sizes
# of the GeChic display or the Dell display.
[output]
name=HDMI-A-1
transform=270
mode=800x480

[id-agent]
default-id-offset=1000

[ivi-shell]
ivi-input-module=ivi-input-controller.so
ivi-module=ivi-controller.so
id-agent-module=simple-id-agent.so

[shell]
locking=true
panel-position=none
################################################

you know, adding "mode=800x480" to weston.ini hadn't any effect. the problem is exist.

in attachment, you can see the screen shot of my LCD.

Isn't this because of autoscalling of AGL? if it is, how can I disable it?

Hello all,
I'm using the AGL FF 6.0.0 on Raspberry Pi3 and I'm working on home screen application.
My problem is that when I want to change the background image of home screen app. with a lower resolution one (e.g 800*480, because my 7" LCD resolution is 800*480), new image doesn't fit into the whole LCD (that is the displayed image is smaller than LCD size).
What is the reason?

You need to edit weston.ini to change the screen resolution. For example you can have a look at my recent patched for 1280x720 screen resolution on HDMI monitors for Raspberry Pi:
https://gerrit.automotivelinux.org/gerrit/#/c/16789/

You have to do something similar depending on the type of the exact LCD monitor that you are using.

Best regards,
Leon
