Hi

Your use case should be achieved by application(QML).
windowmanager treats the arbitration of window and window management(visible, locale and so on).

Hi all, another question.

I'd like to make a app that will have a transparent background, showing the launcher's background through its content.  Is this something that is possible within the Wayland compositor and the AGL layer framework?

I've found that I can give a particular surface an opacity setting (using LayerManagerControl), but that affects both the background and the content.  I just want the background to be transparent.

I've also found where the default QML widget background image is set and can remove that, but it leaves a white background.  I've played a bit with qt's surface format, but without success.

Is this possible within the FF window manager and layer framework?

thanks

Jason.
