Hello Michael,
Thank you for the update. I suggest that we add a review of your proposal to the Graphics EG call as well.

Walt

Hi there,

Recently the simple-id-agent has been ported to wayland-ivi-extension v2.0.2 in meta-agl-demo. As we discussed before from our perspective you should use the more sophisticated ivi-id-agent, since it already offers more features like setting configurations with surface ids for example. We were also talking about and agreeing on that at the AGL F2F in Karlsruhe. Therefore, I created a sandboxed branch that has been abandoned by today. For that reason, I opened now a review including my patches with the ivi-id-agent for weston 2.0 and wayland-ivi-extension 2.0.2.

Moreover, I cleaned up the wayland-ivi-extension v1.13 legacy stuff in meta-agl-demo to keep things tidied up.

I invite everyone to participate in my 2 reviews and I am happy to answer your questions.

Thanks.

Cheers,
