You can try something like this in /etc/auto.master:

/home      automountMapName=auto.home,dc=x,dc=com   -fstype=nfs4,rw,hard,intr
/data      automountMapName=auto.data,dc=x,dc=com   -fstype=nfs4,ro,hard,intr
/temp      automountMapName=auto.temp,dc=x,dc=com
-fstype=nfs4,nosuid,rw,hard,intr

If you don't modify /etc/auto.master that often (and if it works), might be
an option.
