Naïve mistake…
I wanted a JBOD not RAID0
Total size shown = 61.6G Smallest HD size = 20.5G
3 x 20.5G is pretty much 61.6G
Sorry for the fodder.

Hi all, I have a kt7-raid, when I look at my HPT device with fdisk or cfdisk it is always telling me it is 61.6gb. I am using the custom gen2dmraid-0.99a boot cd found at this link. http://tienstra4.flatnet.tudelft.nl/~gerte/gen2dmraid/ Here is an example here.
livecd ~ # fdisk -l /dev/mapper/hpt37x_baafbjecbi
Disk /dev/mapper/hpt37x_baafbjecbi: 61.6 GB, 61643489280 bytes 255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 7494 cylinders Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Disk /dev/mapper/hpt37x_baafbjecbi doesn't contain a valid partition table
Here is some detail to help you help me figure this out
livecd ~ # dmsetup table hpt37x_baafbjecbi: 0 120397440 striped 3 128 33:0 0 34:0 10 34:64 10 livecd ~ # fdisk -l
Disk /dev/hde: 20.5 GB, 20547841536 bytes 16 heads, 63 sectors/track, 39813 cylinders Units = cylinders of 1008 * 512 = 516096 bytes
Disk /dev/hde doesn't contain a valid partition table
Disk /dev/hdg: 200.0 GB, 200049647616 bytes 255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 24321 cylinders Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Disk /dev/hdg doesn't contain a valid partition table
Disk /dev/hdh: 251.0 GB, 251000193024 bytes 255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 30515 cylinders Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Disk /dev/hdh doesn't contain a valid partition table
livecd ~ # dmraid -s *** Active Set name : hpt37x_baafbjecbi size : 120397440 stride : 128 type : stripe status : ok subsets: 0 devs : 3 spares : 0
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
