what do you mean? I have 2 Disks that are mirrored (RAID 1). What if
lets say the second Disks starts to have errors (bad sectors, spin
problems whatever)? The raid will still be accessible, since the first
disk is still intact... 
How do I find out the second disk is starting to fail? This is something
only the RAID controller knows, hence I must ask the controller driver, 
am I right?
