Appears there is now version 1.31 available: http://highpoint-tech.com/370drivers_down.htm http://highpoint-tech.com/hpt3xx-opensource-v131.tgz "Revision History: v1.31 21Dec2002 Update driver library for GCC 3.2. Fix 48-bit LBA compatibility. Add support for HPT372N IC. Support non-RAID build." Has anyone tried them? I presume that the major benefit to using these updated drivers is that they're compiled with GCC 3.2 vs. previous 2.x something compiler? I don't completely understand, but know there was a hack required to use them depending on what version your kernel was compiled with. Regards
