Hi,

I am trying to install debian woody (bf24 kernel) using an adaptec 1200A
ide-raid controller. It is based on hpt370 chip. If I define a raid array at
boot time (from adaptec bios), debian installation recognize 2 ataraid units
/dev/ataraid/d0 and /dev/ataraid/d1. I create my partition and at the end I
reboot. But I received an error message from ide controller about a raid corruption.
If I do not define a raid array from Adaptec bios debian installation recognize
an ataraid unit /dev/ataraid/d0 but the system restart stop with "LI" message.

I forget, I have always try to use a raid 0 wit 2 ibm hard disk 40 Gb.

How can I do to install debian? There are some driver ready for debian like I
have seen on Highpoint WWW site?

Walter
