hi all, well - i've been running ataraid on my mandrake 8.2 for ... dunno - months. all is fine, but i'm concerned about anticipating failure on the drives, or knowing when the drive has failed without ever seeing the box. is there any way to know if a drive is fialing or has failed while the system is running? the box is a fileserver, and hence is never really rebooted. i guess i'm asking how to get the status on a device reliably. thanks, jinn
