Silicon Image (Sil) chipsets

There's an interesting controller for sale over
at Computer Geeks:
http://www.compgeeks.com/details.asp?invtid=PCIATA133-NB

It has a Silicon Image Sil0680 chipset for a RAID
controller. I haven't found much info about this
thing, but as near as I can tell it's not supported
under Linux. Has anyone tried writing a driver for
it? Any idea if Linux support is on the horizon?
Same goes for it's ATA/100 cousin, Sil0649.
