RH 7.2 install with HPT370A, kernel module?

Hello,

I've installed RedHat 7.2 to machine with Abit ST6RAID (i815EP SolanoII +
HPT370A IDE RAID). I've configured in HPT bios that two identical HDD would
be in RAID 1 mirror. HPT BIOS says that everything is ok. So, I installed
RedHat 7.2 on this machine. Now, when the machine is configured and going
into production, turns out that these HDDs are not in mirror! As far as I've
studied this case there are HPT drivers for RH7.2, but only on customized
boot disk. But I can't reinstall this machine (reconfiguration wouldn't come
into consideration). All I need now is how to mirror these disks? How can I
tell to linux that "don't use hdg and hde, but RAID 1 mirror"? Where could I
get the right module for this IDE RAID adapter and what commands to issue
not to destroy data on hde?

Thanks in advance,
Liivo.

PS. What does it mean by "not 100% native mode"?
