I've been trying the Promise dirvers and the ones from Redhat to get the FastTrak 100 to mount in Mandrake 8.1... No luck yet... I see that pdcrad.c and .h and ataraid.c and .h are present in the kernel source, but they won't compile. Inserting a precompiled driver yields "unresolved symbols"... Which I've attempted to correct by recompiling the kernal using mrproper. It still yields "unresolved symbols". Has anyone gotten this to work with the latest Mandrake release? Or am I destined to buy yet another IDE controller? Eric Sandquist www.ihms.net
