I have just compiled 2.4.13-ac8. I will try on my machine to see if I can
get anywhere.

BTW, Can you yet boot from the RAID0 pdcraid devices - juts curious. I know
a little while back you could only boot from a floppy.

I installed Red Hat 7.2 onto a spare drive I had laying around. I
promptly compiled a 2.4.13-ac8 kernel with ataraid and pcdraid builtin
to the kernel itself. I now want to transfer everything over to the
raid0 drives on my fasttrak controller. DOS fdisk picked up the raid0
array on the fasttrak and I was able to partition it to my liking.
Right now, I have windows 98 installed on the primary partition on the
fasttrak. However, the linux kernel I compiled doesn't seem to be
detected my raid0 array. It is giving me the following message:

Promise Fasttrak(tm) Softwareraid driver 0.03beta: No raid array found

This has me stumped... windows/dos picked up the array just fine. I had
these ataraid drivers working fine in RH 7.1 :(

Any help is appreciated...

Thanks,
-Conrad

Have any other Promise devices in the system?
