ATA Raid/ Software Raid + Fasttrak100 TX4

I have been playing around with my TX4 and have been unsuccessful at all 
attempts to use it, even just as a ATA-100 controller for software raid.  I 
would rather use this controller rather than my on-board HPT-370 (since the 
TX4 is four channels and not 2 like the HPT).

Everyone on this list says software raid is the way to go... but I need to 
get the TX 4 working before I get that far.  Is there anyone doing work on 
the drivers for the TX4... not raid, but controller?
