Yes, and at booting it finds the drives as hde and hdg. 
And in the calc_pdcblock_offset function the ideinfo pointer is not
null (and it's null at hdf and hdh).

But as I'm also intend to install debian I'm very interested in Greg's
boot/root floppies.
