Hello After having fighting with the Debian boot/root floppies for several hours, i managed to install a base system on my raid0 array. The / partition is in an extended one. I can boot on it with a floppy on which i copied kernel 2.4.5-ac5, rdeved to /dev/ataraid/d0p5 The partition is seen and i even got the Debian installer message telling me that i have to reboot with the rescue floppy in order to properly finish the install (but this is another story...) I'm sad i have to leave for a few weeks, so close of the goal... Good luck, Greg
