Hi,I'm considering you are using libss7 implementation, you can access CIC directly using the same syntax dahdi uses to direct access channels.
Syntax:Dial(dahdi/2/${your_destination})Dial(dahdi/15/${your_destination})
Pointing to dahhi channel-number directly.You must first assign "CIC numbers" -> to "Dahdi channels" in chan_dahdi.conf
example chan_dahdi.conf (parts are missing to focus on CIC mappings)
signalling=ss7ss7type=itulinkset=1networkindicator=nationalpointcode=0-0-1adjpointcode=0-0-2sigchan=24
cicbeginswith=1channel=1-23 ; (Add DAHDI/1 to DAHDI/23 to linkset 1 and maps them from CIC 1 to CIC 23)
Here is another example:
linkset=1pointcode=12251defaultdpc=6332
cicbeginswith=34channel=2-31cicbeginswith=66channel=33-62cicbeginswith=98channel=64-93
This will result:
*CLI> ss7 show cics 1
CIC DPC DAHDI STATE BLOCKING34 6332 2 Idle35 6332 3 Idle36 6332 4 Idle37 6332 5 Idle38 6332 6 Idle39 6332 7 Idle40 6332 8 Idle41 6332 9 Idle42 6332 10 Idle43 6332 11 Idle44 6332 12 Idle45 6332 13 Idle46 6332 14 Idle47 6332 15 Idle48 6332 16 Idle49 6332 17 Idle50 6332 18 Idle51 6332 19 Idle52 6332 20 Idle53 6332 21 Idle54 6332 22 Idle55 6332 23 Idle56 6332 24 Idle57 6332 25 Idle58 6332 26 Idle59 6332 27 Idle60 6332 28 Idle61 6332 29 Idle62 6332 30 Idle63 6332 31 Idle66 6332 33 Idle67 6332 34 Idle68 6332 35 Idle69 6332 36 Idle70 6332 37 Idle71 6332 38 Idle72 6332 39 Idle73 6332 40 Idle74 6332 41 Idle75 6332 42 Idle76 6332 43 Idle77 6332 44 Idle78 6332 45 Idle79 6332 46 Idle80 6332 47 Idle81 6332 48 Idle82 6332 49 Idle83 6332 50 Idle84 6332 51 Idle85 6332 52 Idle86 6332 53 Idle87 6332 54 Idle88 6332 55 Idle89 6332 56 Idle90 6332 57 Idle91 6332 58 Idle92 6332 59 Idle93 6332 60 Idle
[ Dial dahdi/3 and you will be using CIC 35 ]
Examples above are from this list (about 3 years ago). Currently I don't know about SS7 implementation on recent asterisk versions, and maybe something could be changed.For past versions based on libss7 , you can use like this.
Hope the information helps.
What asterisk version and ss7 based implementation are you using?
