The message

  "Cannot open channel, there is no configured peer host for link 'sunset'

shows that you have compiled with the flag

CFLAGS+=-DMTP_OVER_UDP

in the Makefile. Be sure to comment that you:

#CFLAGS+=-DMTP_OVER_UDP
