SMS,MMS, SS7 and wrong approach to

It depends on your USSD service. You will probably not use asterisk to 
initiate sending USSD, you will need to implement your USSD service. Perhaps 
you can give some information about the kind USSD service you are interested 
in.

You need a connection to a telco that routes your MAP traffic.
