Hello,

Is your SS7 channel is able to produce SS7's analogue of PRI's PROGRESS message (CPG?)? Otherwise you will not be able to establish backward audio channel to play an announce in pre-answer phase...

WBR,
Paul.

  dear,
  okie. I have tried it. but that particular voice prompt is not playing.
  i will give you whats shown in asterisk CLI

  Starting SS7/1 at ss7,001255600001,1 failed so falling back to exten 's'
      -- Executing Playback("SS7/1", "eng_notavail|noanswer") in new stack
      -- Playing 'eng_notavail' (language '')
      -- Executing Hangup("SS7/1", "") in new stack
    == Spawn extension (ss7, s, 2) exited non-zero on 'SS7/1'

        Did you use Playback with the 'noanswer' option ?

    jamshed:

    i and others have told you three or four times now, to use noanswer
    its an option to the Playback command

    show application playback on *CLI for more information

    secondly, please stop blue/BOLD text in your email
    and do try to limit yourself to 1 "?" and the end of a question

    thanks
