Yes. This will also run some sanity checks on the package, after it has
been built. For many many packages in the AUR, this would be very
useful.

Hehe, yes. In such a case you would need a local repository to use
devtools (e.g. with the help of aurutils), or have someone push the
dependencies to [community].
