pacman - Grub note should use root prompt instead of user

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

All,

  The pacman note on grub users the $ user-prompt designation instead of #, e.g.

:: To use the new features provided in this GRUB update, it is recommended
   to install it to the MBR or UEFI. Due to potential configuration
   incompatibilities, it is advised to run both, installation and generation
   of configuration:
     $ grub-install ...
     $ grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg

It's a "nit", but is there any reason it doesn't read:

     # grub-install ...
     # grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg

Chuckling .. if this is the only thing to bring up in the last 6 months - Arch is doing really, really good!
