Gigabyte support confirmed it. This is correct.

The answer to my CSM (legacy boot) related request translated from
German to English (US) by https://www.deepl.com/de/translator :

"Dear Gigabyte customer

thank you for contacting us.

We will be happy to review your request and look for a solution for you.

The GPU of the CPU is not able to do Legacy Mode anymore, this would
require a PCIe VGA.

The OS Linux is not supported by us, also we do not offer drivers.
