Both follow a "fix your software, when my software is buggy, to make my software work" attitude. They might have contributed good things to Linux, but live often is easier without some of their programming. However, this is the wrong place to wake up this discussion again. I only chime in, because I guess it's important to recommend against pulseaudio, when a user mentions to use Rosegarden or similar real-time audio related software. Regards, Ralf
