Hi,

just in case you shouldn't know this already, an "update
request" (informing the maintainer) could be done by flagging a package
out-of-date, what already was done by (you or) somebody (else) on
2016-07-12 at
https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/openconnect/ , one day
after the new version was released by upstream.

Assuming an update should be really important regarding security issues
and it shouldn't happen for more than a month, then you could report it
as a bug and increase "Severity",
