Just for the record: that is what is called sntp (Simple ntp). Ntp is about clock sync, sntp just sets the clock. As long as it's used as any daemon, i'd ok with that being enabled by default; those can be simply disabled (remove symlink or systemctl disable), as i prefer a real ntp on my systems. mvg, Guus
