No, it won't. Because the metadata will take more space than the actual
application. Besides, wpa_supplicant and dhcpcd is needed not only for
wifi-menu.

IMHO, wifi-menu has always been a strange tool because it requires root
privileges to operate. But if I login as root, I might as well use wpa_cli,
iw or write a profile directly. It would be nice if we could use polkit
for non-root users...
