For those who are still interested in situation with Thunar concerning sort order. It turned out that in Thunar's bugzilla there is already bug report opened long time ago. I just added comment there but it seems that the problem is not fixed since then. https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7110 So, I filed new bug report: https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9218 Maybe they pay attention to this more seriously.
