Here are a few more error messages that I hope will help. The kdm.log seems to 
point to a problem with greeter:

Since downgrading the packages from from testing didn't help, I have re-enable 
testing and reinstalled intel-dri-7.6-1 xf86-video-intel-2.9.0-1 and 
libgl-7.6-1.

Any other ideas welcomed :p
