Need help building mod_auth_xradius-0.4.6 on Solaris 10

I can't get mod_auth_xradius-0.4.6 to build on Solaris 10 (Apache 2.0.63), I am running into same issues as outlined in this email thread:

As stated in the above email thread, I can't get it to build using gcc or studio compiler. I wonder if Nick Kew posted instructions to fix the problem. Any clues/hints are greatly appreciated.
