Does server-status lie with the prefork?

Hi all,

I'm using version 2.2.4 with prefork-MPM and wanted to use the
server-status page to collect some statistics. But the numbers I get are
completely wrong. They should be much higher, especially for req/s and
kB/sec. So my guess is that "server-status" only tells me what the
parent process is doing and nothing about it's children.

Is that possible? Or am I totally wrong here?

Thanks in advance for any help,

Markus
