problem with jnlp extension and mime.types

Hi,

Im working in an application with an apache server installed in wampserver application. My application is launched by means of a jnlp archive with Java Web Start.

When I press the link to download the jnlp archive, it doesn’t download but it appear in my web browser (firefox) as a plain text. I’ve been searching solutions for this, and I change the mime.types with the _expression_ “application/x-java-jnlp-file                jnlp”, although  it doesn’t work (server restart included).

I’ve created even a .htaccess file inside application folder in the apache server (path: C:\wamp\www) with these two expressions:

AddType application/x-java-jnlp-file    .jnlp

AddType application/x-java-archive-diff .jardiff

But it doesn’t work neither.

I don’t know what is happening, and I don’t know what to do.

I’d be so grateful If anybody can help be.

Thanks

Best regards
