Thanks for reply guys but i think i didnt put my question right ;( let me
rephrase it :

What is better in terms of response and resource utilisation when we have
2500 hits / min :

1. Directly on tomcat

2. Apache > AJP > tomcat

Provided :
Not static content to be served.
