If I use [P,L], the forwarding does not work: 2 frames are indeed displayed but the pages are not. Can you please also clarify what you want me to check? thanks a lot. --- Joshua Slive <joshua@xxxxxxxx> wrote: > On Fri, Mar 28, 2008 at 2:17 PM, Melanie Pfefer > <melanie_pfefer@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > Hello Joshua, > > > > I suspect also that the backend server (a tomcat) > is > > not accepting this redirection. > > Actually, the 2 rewrite rules follow the same > basics > > but in the first rewrite rule, the backend server > is a > > java servlet. > > > > Do you think that additional configuration needs > to be > > done on tomcat side not apache? > > Did you read the document I suggested: > > > > http://www.apachetutor.org/admin/reverseproxies > > As I've said a couple times already, I think the > most likely answer is > simply a broken link/href in your documents caused > by the fact that > the URL as seen by the client is different from the > one seen by the > back-end server after it passes through the reverse > proxy.
