If I'm not mistaken, you should use only ONE overall
ServerName-directive in your configs, the rest should be handled with
ServerAlias (even having multiple VHosts)

Meaning, if you change

ServerName xyz.domain.com

to

ServerAlias xyz.domain.com

it should work.
