This is what I am now using succesfully:

<IfModule mod_dir.c>

   DirectoryIndex index.html

</IfModule>


My documentroot is /www/joustra, and my error_log shows:

[Fri Dec 07 01:04:56 2007] [error] [client IPadres] Attempt to serve
directory: /www/joustra/

I really don't like the idea that the whole world can see what my
exact setup is, that is why I don't gave more information.
