Why don't you try

Header set Referer ""

or,

Header unset Referer

Looks like the mod_header filter is executed pretty late in the request processing, so that might do the trick.

Objet : RE: Removing the 'Referer' header on redirects / rewrites

Hi all.
First post, hoping this counts as an intelligent question. Perused / searched the docs without much luck.

I'm wanting to know - if I'm doing a redirect / rewrite - how can i / is it possible to disable / strip the referer header?
I am sending the requests from inside Flash, so I can't use meta-refresh trickery.

Any insight would be appreciated, thankyou!
