Hi, I do this on my servers. I use autoexecnt to map the drives at startup. I have also found that you need to rename the apache service something farther down the alphabet to make sure that autoexecnt.exe completes before apache starts. *********************************************** Tony Guadagno Guadagno Consulting tonyg@xxxxxxxxxxxx 585.703.6700 *********************************************** >>> Mario Vejlupek <admin@xxxxxx> 4/26/2007 6:24 AM >>> -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, i am trying to setup Apache 2.2.4(as a Service) on Windows XP Professional with mapped smb drive(y:) as directoryroot. if i only change in default configuration file(httpd.conf) directory root to DirectoryRoot "y:/www" Apache crash during startup without any error log(only with standard ms crash window - but i don`t expect that send report to Microsoft will solve anything ;-)) i already try Virtual host alias Google etc. but nothing solve my problem.
