The virtual directories are under the users home directory as such: /home/username/wwwThe issue that I having is that when a new directory is created by the user under the 'www' it gives a 403 Forbidden error. The virtual directory directive is like this: <VirtualHost *:80> ServerName www.xxxxxxxxx.cim DocumentRoot /home/username/www <Directory "/home/username/www"> AllowOverride All Options All </Directory> </VirtualHost> Any help would be greatly appreciated! See:http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/faq/error.html#error.permissiondenied andhttp://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/howto/public_html.html, which details what you probably should be using instead of the scheme you now have. Here's a hint in case you don't want to use UserDir: "man umask." Be careful, though, this can have unintended consequences!
