New Directory Issue

All,

Thanks in advance for any answer to this very newbie type of question.

I have a server running Apache v. 2.0.52 and using all virtual 

directories.  The virtual directories are under the users home directory 

as such: /home/username/www

The issue that I having is that when a new directory is created by the 

user under the 'www' it gives a 403 Forbidden error.

The virtual directory directive is like this:

<VirtualHost *:80>
   ServerName www.xxxxxxxxx.cim
   DocumentRoot /home/username/www
   <Directory "/home/username/www">
       AllowOverride All
       Options All
   </Directory>
</VirtualHost>

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
