Thanks for the info Olivier, I did run across those postings and tried to use the following directive at the server config level: 'SetEnv proxy-nokeepalive 1' mentioned here: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=39499 but it didn't seem to resolve these errors. I didn't change the backend server keepalive timeouts as I thought the above directive would create a new connection each time. If anyone can confirm this is a result of a network connectivity issue vs. an error based on a backend server response, that would be helpful. ____________________________ Steven "Chirouze Olivier" <olivier.chirouze To @volvo.com> <users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> cc 03/13/2007 07:09 AM Subject RE: Reverse proxying errors Please respond to users@xxxxxxxxxxx e.org Hi, My contribution might not be very valuable, but we do have these errors sometimes as well. I think it might just be what the error log is telling us: a network error between your reverse proxy and the web server? I hapen to have a look at this too (there is another bug report...) http://threebit.net/mail-archive/apache-users/msg02513.html Olivier --------------------------------------------------------------------- The official User-To-User support forum of the Apache HTTP Server Project.
