RE: Problem with mod_authn_dbm after upgrading from 2.0 to 2.2

Thanks Owen

I thought I had!  I should have included the .htaccess sample that
generates the error:

AuthType Basic
AuthName "Admin"
AuthBasicProvider dbm
AuthDBMType GDBM
AuthDBMUserFile "/home/httpd/notintree/password"
Require valid-user


Maybe I'm just being daft - if so I need a steer

one of the main changes between 2.0 and 2.2 is in area of authentication
and authorization. It has been sustantailly refactored with many changes
to module names and directive syntax. Start at
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/new_features_2_2.html#module and read
carefully...
