I think that, if you use gs only once, to write the whole path of the
binary in the php script. E.g passthru("/usr/bin/gs with parameters if
needed");
If gs is used more than once, you should create a variable, e.g $gs,
and call passthru("$gs with parameters if needed");. And voila! You
didn't need to change any ENV var at all :)
